The Eristoff Experience is an interactive, yet functional space that introduces the world of Eristoff and the global wolf pack. The feature rolled out at the Synergy Live festival 2012 at Theewaterskloof, just outside of Cape Town.
The 9 metre-deep, 4 metre-wide and 3 metre-high structure becomes a completely immersive experience at night, thanks to two powerful projectors that throw interactive visuals onto opposing translucent walls of the structure from the outside. So even though the projection is from the outside or rear, the special material used on the structure allows the imagery to be seen from the inside as well.
The structure also features a bar at the rear that can serve as a sampling station or fully functional bar. Festival-goers welcomed the comfy daytime chill-out area, which included a misting system to fight the Summer heat.
Here’s the nitty-gritty of the interactive Experience:
- The default grid visual displays Twitter and Facebook activity relevant to Eristoff South Africa and international. This includes anything from tweets with specific hashtags to new Fans and Followers. The name of the individual responsible for the activity is displayed instantaneously in the visual.
- The visuals are also influenced by the ambient music in it’s nearby environment, which are especially sensitive to low bass sounds, often pulsating to the rhythm of the live music being played at the event.
- The Eristoff brand reveal is triggered via microphone when consumers “howl” like a wolf before or after they drink Eristoff. This brand reveal is randomised from 10 different reveals.
