We recently created a fun Facebook application for kalahari.net, where Facebook could wish for their favourite kalahari.net item and stand the chance to win it. “Wishes” were then shared with a user’s Facebook friends, prompting them to wish too.
Through the application, the competition received more than 8,000 applications with little or no advertising behind it to drive traffic. It also assisted in nearly doubling the kalahari.net Facebook page user base in just over a month.
